| Lets see... Made some cash money at my uncles house last week-end doing some brick-laying. Aaand I'm going up again Memorial Day week-end. Then next month I got a job at the Election again, yay me. So, I'm finally doing some work, makin some cash, stuff like that...
Went to a Ball on Thursday. It was cool, got to dance with some cool girls. I was complimented I dont know how many times on my guidance. Meaning, I was like the only guy on the floor that didnt bash his girl into every1 and everything. My Mask was the star of the show
I went to what could be the most awkward seminar EVER on Friday... dont ask...
Mothers day has come and past. Me and the others got mom a Archeological Study Bible. She loved it.
| Wow... its been a while...
Okay...

lets see...
OH! My pool is clean!
y'all know what that means? POOL PARTY!!
| Lets start with the first game:
I was sick, had been riding in the car for what felt like forever, and I showed up to the game with 10 mins. left in the game. I sit and watch for 5, then one of my team m8s comes over and grabs me off the bleachers and tells me to go suit up. So I do. I play for 5 mins, and we lost the game by 6 points because Kyle wassnt there and I arived really late.
Second game:
Kyle, still sick. Me, feeling better but still not in my groove, and we are playing a team that dosent belong in Varsity. We beat them down by like 15 points. I scored 9 that game.
Third game:
This is the one that we needed. We are playing the favorites to win the tournament. If we won this game we go to the Championship... We really wanted it. They have quite a roster. a 6'7" white dude, a 6'5" black guy that must have been like 200 lbs, and a wide aray of gaurds. Oh and they had a dunker. Yeah. All my gaurds are scared. I'm not impressed. So here we go. Jump ball. I win it. They score the first point. Its on now. Its a tight battle during the first half. We are all exited. Next thing we know, its the end of the third quarter, and they are up by 13 points. I'm ticked now. I have never been this close to getting a medal at the LA tourny in the 3 years I have been playing there. There is no WAY I'm gonna let them win. So, we start coming back, and guess what. Our best scorer, Josh G, gets fouled out. Things dont look good. Needless to say it got our team a bit fired up. It was EPIC! We took them by storm... Tie game with 30 seconds left in the game. Our freshman steals the ball on the press and pops a three! Time is running out. We are up by three and there is almost no time left on the clock. We are only guarding the 3 point line. A lay-up wont save them now. The last few seconds were all a blur... All I can remember is hearing the buzzer... The crowd erupting, and me being smothered by the rest of my rejoicing team. Glory... And I walked away with 12 points, 3 blocks, and god knows how many rebounds.
Champoinship: No epic game here. I played the whole 4th with 4 fouls, and got 9 points. Oh, and we won by... I dont even remember. 11 or something.
Update: MY POOL IS CLEAN!! WHOOT!! POOL PARTAY!!!

| Well folks, long time no post. I guess its time to tell you ppl whats been happening...
My great uncle died. He had been in the hospital after risking his own health to save his 100 wife from falling when she tried getting out of bed. He spent quite a few boring and sometimes lonley days in the recovery home that he was staying at. Throughout the whole ordeal, he never complained about the pain in his broken ribs, his broken arm, or leg.
His funeral was a quiet one, with mostly just family, and a few freinds. His wife Alice, my aunt, cried through the whole thing. I was bairly able to keep my own composure at seeing her like that. It was also on that day, (which was a friday) that I got sick.
I had mostly recovered from the flu, and from the shock of losing a loved one, when I heard the news. Aunt Alice, had gone to be with her husband, and Jesus, in Heaven. I only hope that I can live half the life they lead, together with someone I care about.
Since then, my whole family has been running non-stop trying to get our lives back in order, making sure everything is worked out, and getting ready to go to the Tournament in Riverside. For those of you who are oblivious, that means I'm going to LA. I've been awake up till now paking, and puting the stuff in the car.
Thats about it. I hope I'm still strong enough, after being sick for this long. But then again, it IS LA after all, so I'm pretty pumped up.
Wish me luck y'all! | | |
